Derek Jeter In A Red Sox Uniform, What Would It Do?

Sure, that is a Photoshopped version of what Derek Jeter would look like in the Red Sox Uniform.

What I am asking of you, my few followers, just imagine what that would entail...

With Jeter you have a total Roger Clemens scenario going on SANS the HGH and Steroid situation cause Jeter has never been accused of using such. Maybe he took some Centrum Vitamins or Generic Vitamin Supplements from his local CVS or Rite Aid or whatever local drugstore they have in New York (only locals know what illegal ones there are) to get his last ring.

In this bloggers opinion adding Derek Jeter to the 2011 Red Sox could only be a good thing. Ellsbury is not a sure thing any more and you don't want to put Pedroia in the awkward position of being a third hitter. The 3rd hitter is usually a slugger, a doubles or home run hitter.

Now I know Pedroia is a guy that will take on just about any challenge but I also know he knows his limitation. Something tells me he know that he isn't a 30 HR hitter. He is mainly a singles and doubles hitter. And that's why we love him. He is mainly an Average hitter.

So is Jeter, but at the same time Jeter has made his career of getting the big/career hits. I hate to bring it up but he did have a big hit against Martinez in 04 that scored 3 runs. I am not taking anything at all away from that Red Sox team but he did get those RBI's in that post season game.

Jeter is one of those guys that seems to get the Important RBI's when it comes to it, whether its from the regular season or the Post Season. How many RBI's did Jeter get a couple years ago when A-Rod was still smashing HR's. I hate to bring it up like this but how many hits has he had against Papelbon in the last few years cause he has always watched how he pitched and has done what he has done against us. How can it be bad to talk away a great Pap hitter (along with a great closer hitter) and add him to our line up?

This is one of the great things that I have seen about Jeter, he watches how a great pitcher throws, whether it's a starting pitcher or a closing one. And he used to play with the best, Mariano Rivera (of which I cant believe it has been four years already).

Jeter is a player that any team would die for regaurdless of his age. Since he was 20 he has shown that he has always been a great team player regardless of who was on his team.

Something tells me that now, despite what team Jeter may play for, (And I can only hope that the Red Sox are that team) what ever team that may be they have all the votes in going to the world series because any one that gets Jeter has a Hall Of Fame Leader in their midst.

PS This is why I don't just feel, but know we should get Derek Jeter to play for the Boston Red Sox!

So much for Scientology!

I am testing things here.

I am not a fan of Scientology (tho I am still one that says "Tho I may not agree with what you say, I will defend to the death your right to say it!) and I feel it should be taken down, and it wouldn't be the first time that a religion has be defeated tho. So for those of you that, to put it lightly, aren't fans of Scientology, and want a cause to be part of, here you go, if this link doesn't work quite the way I hope, I will work over and over again.
